Valley/Knapp Creek Fence Project
Valley/Knapp Creek Fence Project
August 9th & 10th, 2025Fencing project Valley Creek/Knapp Creek! This is a calibration with the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation and the Salmon Challis National Forest.MVTMA will be installing Jack fence on either side of trail restrictors at the Valley Creek trail head and the Knapp Creek trail head! This is a great project for all ages to attend - both trail heads are accessible by vehicles. With enough volunteers we will split into two groups and get all the fencing installed Saturday then lead a family friendly ride Sunday!So bring the kiddos, grandparents, work gloves and a smile. MVTMA will provide Tacos for dinner Saturday night!Please let Byron Posey know if you plan on attending @ 208-969-0720Click for camping location!See you all there!

North Fork of Big Creek - Bridge Project
August 3rd and 4thCamping @ Big Creek Campground in the Pahsimeroi Valley. GPS Coordinates: 44.441646, -113.599518This is a multi-motorized access collaboration with IFTMA, ISTA, MVTMA, Tread Lightly, Can-Am, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, Challis Trails Group, Salmon Backcountry Horsemen & IDPR.We will be installing a much needed bridge on a deep crossing approximately 2 miles from the trail head. Lunch will be provided. Bring the entire family for a memorable trip!

We had a great time and turnout! Big shout out to all that came!
We had a great turnout - around 69 riders!! Kids ride was around 25 miles! Big ride was around 35 miles! Thanks to all that came out!
